Auroni Majumdar has 20+ years of global experience in FMCG and B2B specialty ingredients, holding leadership roles at CJ Foods, PepsiCo, and IFF. His expertise spans strategy, portfolio management, business development, and leading front-end R&D and commercialization.

As Vice President of R&D at CJ CheilJedang Foods, Auroni leads Global Open Innovation, driving scalable, cost-effective technologies across CJ’s $10Bn CPG and Food Ingredients portfolio. He oversees a global innovation network across the US, Europe, Korea, and Japan, focusing on strategic partnerships and investments to deliver differentiated, consumer-relevant solutions.

Previously at IFF, Auroni was VP of Strategy and Business Development for Integrated Solutions, shaping enterprise growth strategies post-merger with DuPont Nutrition & Biosciences. He also led R&D Strategy and Portfolio Management, driving the global innovation pipeline and supporting M&A.

At PepsiCo, Auroni led efforts related to ingredient discovery, agricultural innovation, and product commercialization, including R&D for Starbucks RTD, launching 40+ products for a $2Bn+ business.
