Brian Kocher has served as Chief Executive Officer of SunOpta since January 2024. He brings nearly 20 years of C‑suite leadership experience in the global food industry, with deep expertise in operational transformation, supply chain and financial leadership.

Mr. Kocher currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of SunOpta, a Refresco Company. Previously, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Calavo Growers, Inc. from 2022 to 2023 and as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Castellini Group of Companies from 2015 to 2022. Earlier in his career, Mr. Kocher spent ten years at Chiquita Brands International, Inc., where he held multiple senior leadership roles, including Interim Chief Executive Officer; Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer; Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer; President of Europe; President of North America; and Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer.

Mr. Kocher has led large‑scale global business transformations, driving profit improvement through portfolio optimization, distribution expansion, pricing strategies, and operational efficiencies. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Ohio University.
