Colin Cureton
Director of Commercialization, Adoption, and Scaling, University of MN Forever Green Initiative Co-Founder of Overstory Ventures, Midwest Hazelnuts, Manto Foods
Colin leads the University of Minnesota Forever Green Initiative's Commercialization, Adoption, and Scaling (CAS) team. Forever Green is developing new perennial and winter annual crops that 'bake-in' soil health practices and could be deployed on millions of acres over the coming decades in the Upper Midwest and beyond. Colin leads Forever Green's strategy for how these crops are bridged onto the landscape and into the market. He holds Masters in Applied Economics (MS) and Food and Energy Policy (MPP) from the University of Minnesota, and for over 15 years has worked across sectors to foster a more resilient food and agriculture system. Since 2023, Colin has also been cultivating entrepreneurial pathways in regenerative agriculture by co-founding Overstory Ventures, Midwest Hazelnuts, LLC, and Manto Foods.
