Nathan Ahlgrim
Senior Academic Community Manager,
The Good Food Institute
Nathan manages the Alt Protein Project, an initiative of The Good Food Institute, as it seeds alternative protein education and research programs at universities across the world. He works to empower university students as they take the lead on launching some of the first research projects, curriculum offerings, and industry engagements at their host institutions. Nathan’s experience as a scientist, educator, and naturalist informs the interdisciplinary approach he brings to his work at GFI. He holds a B.S. in biology and psychology from UNC Chapel Hill and a Ph.D. in neuroscience from Emory University.
